Utterly Took my Breath Away...

I loved all your broken pieces. 

Each one had a story to tell

about strength, 

perseverance, 

heart and guts.

But the most beautiful damn thing about you 

was the way you laid all your pieces out there 

for everyone to see.

You were an open invitation to be seen,

by anyone willing to look.

You were full of life, 

beauty, 

wounds and scars.

You weren't afraid to be human 

and frail.

There was such beauty 

in your humbleness, 

and the light shining

through all your shattered pieces.

Utterly took my breath away.
