You're Doing the Best You Can

And sometimes, that's enough...

So many people are going through a massive awakening right now.  It's a necessary step in our collective evolution.  One can perceive it to be a "behind-the-scenes" motivating factor of this tumultuous time.

Right now, things may be surfacing that you tried to bury in the past.  Instances, behaviors, patterns, beliefs are all coming into question, all being raised to the forefront of your awareness for your examination, processing, and healing.

As you do your work, you might sometimes feel as though you've taken 1 step forward and 2 steps back.  This is normal.  We can think we've healed something years ago that rears its ugly head again.  This is normal.  We can get down on ourselves for not doing a "good enough" job in our healing and think there's something wrong with us.  This is normal.

You have permission to give yourself a break.  The path of one's healing is all about the journey, not the destination.  We are like onions.  We will always have layers to pull back to reveal something else we'd like to evolve beyond.  The important thing is to remember healing does not occur overnight, and there will never be a point where you say "I've made it to the finish line, I'm done healing!"  Self-improvement is something you work at your whole life.  Again, it's the journey that matters, not the destination.

The healing path is both challenging and rewarding.  The ability to experience highs and lows are magnified, as this results from higher levels of consciousness and awareness.  You might choose to live comfortably in a windowless room, never pushing yourself to greater heights.  But is that really living?

Honor yourself and be proud of your decision to make self-improvement a focus in your life.  You are doing an amazing job!  Remember, you are doing the best you can with what you have, and at the end of the day, that's all that matters.  You are doing enough because you are enough. ❤️
